gluten free summer camp!
After a lot of planning and fundraising, the details for our Celiac Camp have been ironed out, and here's the scoop.
Date: June 24-26
Place: Wesley Woods, Townsend TN
Who: Children with celiac disease or gluten intolerance, who have just completed grades 2-6
Cost: $25 ($35 for 2 kids) this will cover GF meals & a T-shirt
To register:
Go to the Wesey Woods website, download the Celiac Camp flyer, complete it and mail it to Wesley Woods.
OR
Simply email david@campwesleywoods.com, giving your name, your child's name & mailing address.
In either case, you will then receive a packet in the mail which contains the complete registration information for you to fill out. Make out your check to Wesley Woods and mail it in with your registration forms.
The camp is limited to 30 children, so if you are interested, start the registration process soon!
Our kids will be served 6 gluten free meals (2 breakfasts, 2 lunches, 2 suppers) and snacks. Some of their food will be prepared by the WW kitchen staff, and some (cereals, muffins, desserts, etc) will be purchased and brought to the camp.
The children will eat at their own table in the dining hall with the rest of the campers. They will participate in regular camp activities but will also have a 30-minute educational session on Wednesday evening and Thursday afternoon.
